Today's the official call for submissions to the June Read & Romp Roundup. If you have a recent (or even not so recent) blog post that involves picture books or children's poetry AND dance, yoga, or another form of movement, leave your link in a comment on this post. I'll round up all the links and post them together in a few weeks. I hope everyone is having a wonderful June so far!
Submissions are open until Sunday, June 30, 2013.
Hi! I would love to share one of my favorite books I have used in different Kids Yoga classes I have taught. It is fun and engaging, leaving room to squeeze a lesson in the end - how perfect!

DeleteHi Kerry,
ReplyDeleteWe are linking up "The Gardener" by Sarah Stewart this month. We also read/heard "The Secret Garden" also involving a lot of activity outside in the garden. Can't help but think "outdoors" with the weather being warm and the flowers in full bloom!

Thanks, Resama. Glad you linked up. An active outside book sounds perfect!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to share my pirate-themed post featuring the book "There Was An Old Pirate Who Swallowed a Fish": http://omazingkidsllc.com/2013/06/29/arrgh-matey-pirate-themed-kids-yoga-lesson-plan-ideas-adapted-yoga/
